Let me tell you ladies, I took it on the advice of a friend that I should try playing a bubble shooter game one day and while I had a great time, shooting the brightly colored "bubbles" with my mouse, I also saw the minutes and then the hours ticking by as the work and the emails that I had open on my computer browser went untouched and ignored.
In today's world, we have unlimited distractions that can easily pull us away from our day and our responsibilities. Bubble shooter games happen to be one of those distractions and it is women, as a group, and especially those of us that happen to be over forty, who have the hardest time pulling away from our computer and getting back on task once we have started playing one of these addictive games.
However, on the flip side of things, it could be a lot worse, we could be shopping for shoes online or taking a break from work and eating a fatty donut, at least this way all that we are doing is killing a little time playing a free game on the internet. Bubble shooter games are fun and harmless, they won't pack on calories and they won't run up your credit card.
The premise surrounding these free games are pretty simple. You "shoot" colored bubbles with your mouse to form "groups" by color. When you get three bubbles of the same color together, they pop. You win the game if you can clear the game board. However, the bubbles do stack up and if the un-popped bubbles reach your side of the screen before you can pop them, you lose.
Our only piece of advice as it relates to these bubble shooter games is don't forget to go about your day, your family is still going to want to eat dinner, your kids still need to be picked up from school, and your boss more than likely wants that report you are supposed to be working on by five. However, if you have a coffee break coming up pretty soon, be our guest, "shoot" away!
